get the phone numbers off the labels and call the companies. beechnut baby food has excellent coupons as does Huggies diapers if you use a coupon and get them on sale. Johnson & johnson offers a "new parents Pack" with coupons and samples of different products (what ever is available @ the time) your best best is to grab a note pad and pen head to the nearest store with a large baby selection and start writing down phone numbers. Make sure they check out WIC also ask the pediatrician office for samples. See if local churches do any sort of rummage sales or clothing swaps. I live in PA and we have a clothing swap at a church here where you take in your kids old clothes to swap with other parents for clothes in sizes you need. Also check out the free samples on walmart.com they often have diapers samples on there and check out luvs leak promise (if u aren't"t happy send 1 diaper, upc and receipt for refund) have family and friends sign up for the same offers for them. Hope this helps also try locating a local crisis pregnancy center type charity or organization... they can help with other things as well up here they can help with diapers, clothes, toys, parent education as well as mentoring and helping the parents get in touch with other needed resources. Family Planning or Planned Parenthood may be able to help you locate more resources in your area.

It kills me to hear of this. I pretty much grew up this way. What you can try is goodwill ( they provide a ton of community services) . St. vincent de paul, catholic charities and churches. Would they be upset if you tried to get donations? Put jars with a picture and a little info on any counter in any place that will allow you to. I live in Florida too, and I know how bad it is here, but I know people would help if you could only get the word out. God bless you for doing what you are. There should be more people like you. Send me an e-mail if there is anything I can do. Maybe we live close enough to each other and I can Give you a hand.
