I wouldn't recommend it. Talk with your OB about facial care products that would be OK for you to use.

It is actually not recommended. There have been many cases of pregnant women breaking out in hives from using that while pregnant because of the hormones etc.

Everyone has different opinions but the best way to find out is to ask your doctor....I dont think its harmful, because i used it...and i had a perfect healthy baby boy...I would just recommend to wait and use it after you first trimester is over...you are prone to acne during you pregnancy because of all the crazy hormones...so dont worry about breaking out even more...its just a wonderful addition to the pregnancy...
As long as you dont use anything that contains accutane..so read read read and ask =]

Nope! I am TTC and I went to my dermatologist yesterday for skin care products. I took in everything I use or have used in the past few months. She told me no Proactive because of the benzoyl peroxide. I also used the Clinique acne skin care line and she said I can't use that because of the salicylic acid. She gave me some Finacea to use and told me that was basically all she could give me while TTC/Pregnant. Just stick to mild things. The Clinique oily skin formula cleanser she said was ok to use. It has sulphur in it to control oil. Good luck!
-Edit- As a side note, she did tell me that if I was dead set to use the Proactive that I could use the clarifying lotion only as a spot treatment on a really bad zit. She said not to apply it to my whole face but to take a little dab and put it on only 1 or 2 zits. That way you wouldn't have a lot of the peroxide soaking into your skin and because the lotion has 2.5% benzoyl it would probably be ok as a spot treatment. Though she still didn't recomend using it at all. I hope this helps you out!
