Disposable Diapers?
Which disposable diapers do you feel are the best for the baby and are somewhat earth friendly. I have heard of chlorine free diapers and cotton filled instead of gel filled diapers. I have been to both stores in my areas and have not found anything but Huggies, Pampers, Luvs and Parents Choice. They don’t seem to have anthing like what I mentioned above. Is there any other diaper out there that is disposable that is better for baby and planet than the 4 above that I mentioned. You can give your opinion on the whole cloth verses disposable diaper, but I would like some honest opinions on the disposable diaper and info on any kind of biodegradable earth friendly type disposable. Thank you.

They have the environmental friendly diapers in stores with organic foods, such as Whole foods etc. You didn’t say if you are having boy or girl, the chlorine free diapers are good for the girls but I tried them with my baby boy and wasn’t very happy with them. They were leaking ALL THE TIME, he was just still wet, no matter which way I pointed his penis. My friend has a girl and she did not have this problem.
the store brands are good as well i like the walmrt and kmart brands.. you can call the big brands and get coupons

I am a CDer and an ECer. Different dipes fit different babies and as your LO grows the dipe may need to change. You can check out thebabywearer.com or mothering.com forums for more info.
From a retired diaper salesman. Buy Luvs. They are the past version of Pampers and cost less. If you think some company knows more about what is the best for your child than the ” Big Two” manufacturers of diapers, you are dreaming. They spend billions on research in this area.
