Free Similac Diaper Bag?

I was just wondering if anyone has signed up on Similac.com I signed up and it said that I would receive a free diaper bag. I wanted to know if they are talking about the one you get in the hospital or if they will mail you one. And if they mail you one what all do you get in it? Also if anyone has any other websites for free stuff for babies I would appreciate it. I am due in Aug. and I could use all the free stuff and samples I can get thanks.

I signed up for the same thing, and I think the way I read it is you get it at the hospital. Enfamil.com had some stuff.
But sadly, any free baby stuff I found you have to do one of the surveys where have to buy stuff first.
Now, there is a yahoo group called freebabystuff. Here again it is a hit or miss kinda thing.
Another yahoo group is called ParentsFreebiesandResourses.

I got one in the mail and didn’t realize I would. It had a playtex advance bottle in it and a sample of good start formula. There were also quite a few pamphlets and cupons. I am not sure about the bottle now that the BPA issue has come up though. The diaper bag is not overly large but it is nice and well insulated and has a handy change pad in the back pouch. I use mine quite often!

Both OB/GYNS that I went to for my pregnancies gave me free diaper bags, the book What to Expect, etc. I didn’t have to sign up for anything. Depending on what state you live in you might not be able to get the Similac bag. I’m not sure which states they are, but some have passed laws stating that doctors cannot give free samples of formula because they want all babies breastfed, which is bull because it is not up to government officials, it is up to the mother whether she wants to or not.
BTW: The diaper bags are NOT cheap. Mine is 4 years old and still in good shape.
They’ll probably mail you several. I don’t even know how many sample cans of formula I got in the mail, from Similac, Enfamil, Nestle…I never signed up for any of them, either. I got several free diaper bags, too…one came from our first health insurance company, one from our second (as my employer changed companies in the middle of my pregnancy), one from my OB, and one from the hospital. I never used any of the diaper bags, as they were pretty small, but I have gotten a lot of use out of the zippered bottle pouches inside. They have those freeze-able gel packs in them. Very handy. Every diaper bag I got included a sample can of formula (powdered), and some coupons, brochures, etc.
Sign up at sites like pampers.com and huggies.com…they’ll send you free diaper samples, plus coupons. If you’re planning to formula-feed, Similac will probably send you lots of coupons in the beginning for large amounts…I know we got several for $8 a piece (again, I never signed up there, but we got them in the mail anyway). Do you have a baby registry? We had one at Babies R Us and got a huge box full of free samples…everything from disposable wash cloths to diapers to an Avent bottle. I’m sure pretty much any company you send your e-mail and home address to will send you something, whether it be coupons or freebies. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!
I’m pretty sure it’s the same kind that you’d get for free at the hospital. And as for it being cheap.. well, I personally don’t care– it was free! I actually find the freebies GREAT– I now keep one in my trunk, in my husband’s trunk, and in the stroller. That way, I don’t have to remember to bring a diaper bag everywhere! I just have to remember to restock them.
hi- go to freakyfreddies.com for free stuff- some are the survey kind- but i signed up for similac, parents choice and members choice samples- this is my 3rd baby and i work w/ babies- enfamil and similac are about the same- the parents choice and mambers mark are similar to similac and good to have for emergencies- if i don’t use them i give them to my church! i also got a sippy cup from juicy juicy and bib from b104. the bag is most likely the hospital one!
Its an ugly cheap plasticy vinyl bag, nothing special. It’ll break in a couple weeks though. It cmes with some coupons and a baby size formula sample and usually 2 similac singles and a bunch of coupons. Try enfamil.com, babies r us.com, good free baby stuff.

pampers.com, huggies.com, enfamil and goodstart just about all brand names go to the websites and they have goodies if u sign up. i got a free diaper bag w. coupons and stuff in it at the hospital.
The hospital should give you one automatically regardless of anything you sign up for… its actually kinda nice all black— hubby likes it becuase its really fairly masculine.
breastfeeding is great you don’t have to worry about buying bottles formula etc.
why does breastfeeding get thumbs down. It’s true it’s cheap and free
