Frustrated! There Are Posts About Feeding Formula Questions?

and people answer with have you tried breast milk! It’s free no warming up and always with you. Can we all assume they couldn’t breast feed! I couldn’t! I had NO milk I tried and tried and pumped and pumped and nothing! My daugher was in the NICU and I was very stressed out/sad. The nurse said that could’ve dried up my milk! PLEASE people be courteous and just answer what they are asking. BTW I just had to get this out! Sorry!

You’re right. For some reason, I think some women who breastfeed feel morally superior to those who don’t – which is absurd since, as you say, they don’t know the circumstances. Unfortunately, courtesy is rarely in abundance on this board – all you can do is ignore the answers that are irrelevant (or report them).
I think moms who breastfeed (I have 2 kids 10 and a half years apart breast fed the baby and not my son almost 11 years ago) think the deserve some kind of frigging award like they are the Mother of The Year or something. I love my children equally and if I were to have another I don’t know which way I would go on the feeding issue but I think I am a great mom because I love my kids more than anything and thats what matters in the end. Good luck to you and I hope that your lil pumpkin is doing good now.

I also was not able to breastfeed my baby. I wanted to badly but a lot of factors figured into me not being able to. I know people push the fact the breast milk is the optimum way of feeding your baby. But there are many great formula’s on the market that allow your baby to get the proper nutrition. Please do not make mothers feel guilty for not being able too or choosing not to breastfeed. You do not know what someone else’s situation is.
I feel the same way. I cant breastfeed because she wont latch on. I pump and she gets some breastmilk every day..i try to atleast. I dont care if she gets breast milk or formula as long as shes fed and healthy.
im sorry thtat you couldn’t have breastfed especially with your little one in the nicu. i breastfeed and i think everyone should try it but if they can’t they can’t. i had a lot of trouble at firt with my son breastfeeding and i was so upset because i thought i was going to have to stop, but i kept going. and since you had to pump, pumping is very hard and some people just can’t pump either. im osrry you ahd to go through that trouble. breatfeedin ahs been the best experience for me and i love it. teh aren’t that many women who ” couldn’t breatfeed though” you’re the few a lot of women just say tey couldn’t because of some reason. im not against anyone who doesn’t. don’t let it get to you though. it’s the same way for some breastfeeding people especially people who extended breastfeed. my MIL jsut ask my finace why i still breastfeed and my osn is only 4 1/2 months and i plan to do so for a year.
yea i agree with you completly. Ive had 5 little boys and i could breastfeed any of them because of problems. SO i didnt have a choice yet everyone seems to decide that we chose not to. Pretty judgemental
I CHOSE not to breastfeed…It’s MY body, I will decide whether to make it a food on demand restaurant or not.
