I bought a new diaper bag off of Ebay and failed to see that it did not come from a smoke free home and it just reeks!! I’ve let it air outside for days, sprayed febreeze and even put it in the dryer with a dryer sheet for awhile. Not sure what material it is made of, can’t wash it says to wipe clean. Is there any way to rid this of the nasty smell?

I have bought a lot of stuff on Ebay and have run into that problem, only the smell was attached to some books that I bought. Regarding your problem, I would try putting it in the washer and if you have a “gentle” cycle, use that. If you don’t have that cycle, try filling the washing machine with warm water and detergent, then place the diaper bag in the water and leave it soaking for a couple of hours. Don’t forget to add Downey or some other kind of fragrant fabric softener. Hopefully, the bag will absorb the fragrance of the detergent and/or fabric softener.
Good luck!
Go to http://www.heavenlyscentsofnature.com and pick one of the prairie aire pouches. Drop the pouch into the diaper bag and give it 24 hours. We purchased a used car from a very heavy smoker. It was in the vents, seats, carpet, etc. We tried everything to get it out with no success. Then we set 1 pouch in the ashtray. It absorbed ALL the odors out. You can’t even tell that anyone ever smoked in it. We spent a lot of money on stuff to clean it and were able to fix the problem for under $10. Amazing stuff.
