How Long Does Enfamil Formula Last Unopened?

I got a free sample of formula and it expiration date is august…it hasnt been opened is it still okay?

If you don’t use it soon, throw it out. When I worked in a grocery store, we would pull formula a month before the expiration date. Our state is very picky about having expired baby foods and formula on the shelf.
You probably can safely use it for the next 30 days, but after that it may lose some of its nutritional value. Usually foods are labeled to expire while they still are perfectly fine. This ensures that they don’t start to deteriorate slightly before the date.
August of this year??? Does it say a year?? Whenever it says, care ful its not a sample that expired august of last year..don’t use it if you dont see a year on there…
Whatever the expiration says. It does not matter if it was opened or not.
