I already know I have a diaper rash from a cheap. Brand of pad I was using during my cycle, now that its clearing up
Should I keep my area hair-free? I noticed that the hairs were also a cause of irritant.

Shaving will probably just complicate the problem because the skin is already irritated and then, you can give yourself folliculitis (pimples) in this area. Keep using the desitin – applying a thick layer – especially at night and this should clear up in a few days.
