I Just Need A Few (physics) Free Fall Problems So That I Can Better Prepare For My Test. Thanks !?

we’ve only learned two equation formulas for free fall:
v=gt
d=1/2gt^2
and two for speed / acceleration:
s=d/t
a= V2 – V1
————
T2 – T1
so don’t make them too complicated please !

Of course, as soon as I let go of a ball in the air, it begins its freefall downward acceleration. If it is moving upwards when I let it go, then it begins to slow down due to this acceleration.
Assuming I am 6 feet tall, and when I try to get the ball into the basket, I actually push on the basketball from when it is 5 feet in the air, until it is 7 feet in the air, how much constant acceleration would I have to give to the ball for it to get to 11 feet high – enough to go over the rim of the basket. You can change these numbers, but you get the idea.
