There are several things you can do to help alleviatee the rash. 1. Get an oatmeal bath and have him soak in it. The oatmeal with also help with the hives. It will soothe and hopefully take them down. Aveeno has really good bath products. 2. Triple Paste Diaper Cream is also very good diaper cream. Several of my children use it when they're bottoms are raw or to the point of bleeding. It is expensive and does not always work on everyone. I'm always a big fan of the Original Desitin. It has 40% zinc in it which helps with blocking the water. 3. Changing the diaper frequently also helps alot in taking down the rash. With a bad rash, we usually change every hour. 4. Give him foods that will not encourage more poops than necessary. ie., binding foods are his friend right now. 5. Change him as soon as he poops. I know you probably do this but not everyone has the common sense to do this. By changing him immediately, you will help reduce the flare-up. 6. VERY IMPORTANT!!! rinse the wipes with water and leave them slightly wet when changing poop. This will be a little cooling on his bottom. I hope this helps. E-Bay even has it sometimes. I am telling you I had the with my kids all 4 of them. My oldest had the worst rash after and this worked. I is called Penaten Creme by jonson and jonson.
