He was put on lacto free formula when he was born. Could that have something to do with it?

My oldest was 16 months (NO JOKE!) when he got his first tooth. He now has all, and his teeth are great! Some kids just get theirs a little late! And after all, 7 mos is just a general guideline. My sister was born with four teeth, lol… All kids are different.
Oh, and your question about the formula? Even if the formula was lactose free, it certainly was not calcium free! Relax Mom! You’re baby is perfect! Best of luck!
OF COARSE MY FRIENDS LITTEL SISTER GOT 1 WHEN SHE WAS 7 MONTHES OLD IT DEPENDS ON HIS GROWTH
I HOPE SO CAUSE MY 4 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER HAS GOTTEN HER FIRST TOOTH AND MY OTHER DAUGHTER THAT IS NOW 8YRS OLD DIDNT HAVE HER FIRST TOOTH UNTIL SHE WAS 10MONTHS OLD
Yes, thats normal honey. My mom said me and my sister got out first tooth when we were 4mnths old. He’s just moving out the way. Like old folks use to say.
nah. no worries at all. some get them as early as 4 months, and some as late as 10 months. I have four kids, and they all came in at different times. one as early as 4 months, and one came in at 10 months. the other two were in between that. it’s perfectly normal for some to come in that late. It’s nothing to worry about at all. It’s all good. Good luck, congrats and God Bless.
9 months sounds kinda late my son got his around 6 months but I do know that as a dentists assistant parents should not get worried so long as at least 1 tooth has cut by 2. I do think the milk has something to with it my sons first tooth sprouted right after I took him off the breast it came in within a matter of days
that’s very normal the timing of the teething differs in individuals i got when i was only 2 months my son got when he was 5 months old there r case of very late teething also may be one to 2 years give him more milk and may be eggs as they r rich in calcium
yes it’s normal, my first son got his first tooth when he was 10 months old.lol
it’s fine but if he still only has one tooth and he’s 14 months you should get him checked out
some babies are born w/ teeth, and some don’t get them until they’re a year old. but something someone told me was this: All the kids in kindergarten have hair and teeth. what she was meaning, it might take a while, but it will happen.
yeah my daughter is 16 months old and is only getting her 8th tooth in, she was breastfed and on vitamins, just didn’t get her teeth as fast as some other babies.. she only had two for the longest time!
All kids are different. Many children get their first tooth a bit earlier. But he’s probably a perfect baby.
Its fine.
My friends daughter got her first at 11 months.
My daughter got hers at 6 months – but, 9 months is fine too.
of course all children get there teeth at different ages, my son was well over a year before he got his first tooth and my daughter was 2!! the longer it takes to get them the healthier they will be!!
My son didn’t get his first tooth until 10 months old. My daughter got hers at 6 months. There is a wide range of normal. Actually, I was discussing this with some women the other day. They have seen babies not get their first teeth until after their first birthday. He’s fine! Don’t worry! And no, I’ve never heard of a link between lacto-free formula and teething delays. Hope this helps!
maybe? but its about normal. don’t worry about it
That sounds about right. Mine got her first at 7 months, but my brother in laws daughter just got her first two (they came in at the same time) and shes almost 13 months old.
You know all children develop differently at different rates my sone is 9 months and has a whole mouth full of teeth. He eats some table food. He started getting teeth really early at about 3 months so I guess it depends on the child.
babys get their teeth any time. my first got first teeth (bottom two) at 10mths and then at 15mths got second teeth (top two), then nothing till about 2years. this baby has just got first tooth yesterday and is 81/2 mths. her friends got theirs earlier.
they are all different.
both babies were and still are breastfed
