Pregnancy: Best Nappies/diapers?

what’s better, pampers or huggies? i bought a box of 152 pampers nappies today as they were on offer, but i also got a free starter kit from huggies which included 27 nappies.
a few people have told me that huggies are better, i’m unsure which other nappies to buy? i’m trying to stock up now on them so i don’t have the financial inconvience of them later on, but i’m unsure whether to continue to buy them both, or just one certain kind?
any opinions on this?

I think it depends on the person and of course the baby. Babie are all shaped slightly different. My sister swears by Huggies natural fit but I had nothing but problems with Huggies. I have used Pampers since my daughter was a newborn and never had a problem. The Pampers Swaddlers are super soft! I would just try out both.
Get a small pack of newborn sized of each and try them. I would hate to have bought a bunch of diapers and then realize that they weren’t right for my baby. Maybe you should put $10-20 a week in a jar or something as a diaper fund, so you can “stock up” on diaper money rather than actual diapers until the baby is born. Good luck and congrats!
everybody has a diff fav, so buy some small bags to try them out, and put the money that you would be spending on them aside ;or be sure and buy somewhere that will let u exchange them if u have a prob with one kind or another
we only and always by pampers swaddlers; they hold a lot for overnight, very few blowouts, fit my dd well, have a lining to keep wetnesss off her bum, no rashes et.c..but i have a friend that swears by huggies….they leaked like crazy for us, so i think a lot has to do with the shape of your baby…we were also given some store brand diapers, which i ended up throwing out bc they didn’t keep the urine off her bum, and a teastooon of urine and that was alll u could smell….not to mention the leaks; so swaddlers it is
Huggies leaked for me. I swear by pampers. I have never had a problem them. I wouldn’t stock up that much on a certain size. They seem to out grow them overnight. I bought a lot of size 1 and I ended up taking half of them back. Save your receipts that way if you need to you can get the next size.
I have two boys and I could not use Huggies. They leaked with both of my boys. I like Pampers Swaddlers,Cruisers, and Baby-Dry. I also think that Pampers keeps babies skin drier than Huggies. Good Luck!!
my son alwys leaked with the huggies n i found the pampers better. he’s been in them ever since n he’s now over 7months old n usin size 4. dnt buy alot of newborn. my son barely used 3pkts of 30 or so n he was born 2 weeks early!
i heard that huggies work better for girls n pampers for boys. so it depends on who u bringin into the world

I have always used Huggies for my newborns as the Pampers ones have sticky tabs which get stuck on their skin sometimes.
Pampers are great…swaddlers and up!..:) They are the softest to… in my opinion anyways..lol
