i do not qualify for wic but i wish i had some help with formula. my baby has a few problems that have set me back financially and i would love it if there were organizations out there to help others like me who do not qualify fro aid but need help with some items?

i’m looking for disposable diapers without super absorbent polymer salt, and the ONLY one i found so far are the tushies. i was wondering if there were any other alternatives, such as the Nature Babycare diapers – do they have the gel? i emailed the company but did not get a response… thanks for your replies.

If you send an e-mail to an adult diaper manufacturer such as Depend or Attends and express interest in or ask questions about their products, they will probably offer to send you a free sample. I did that with Attends and they said they would send me a diaper sample. However, as with any mailing of such an embarrassing product, you have to be sure that you’re ready to receive a package in the mail which may have a return mailing label with the company’s name on it. Most companies are discreet but if you live in an apartment complex, you run the risk of your package with “Depend” on it being spotted by a neighbor. So if that’s an issue, you might want to ask the manufacturer about their mailing label.
You can also get samples for a relatively low cost from several companies. HDIS will give you 22 diapers — 2 each from 11 different brands/styles — for about $10. Duraline Medical Products allows you to customize a sample package of 20 diapers for about the same cost.
