my daughter is 11 mos old and has never drinken formula. i want to breastfeed at least until 1 year old. i pump at work and also give her breastmilk from me in the morning, before bed, and at least once at night…i want to rid myself of the night session.
My doctor sent me home with 4 vials to run some tests on my daughter’s stools. The lab tech said I could put plastic wrap in her diaper to catch the sample so it doesn’t get absorbed, but that just seems cruel to me. I did that for one pee, and her poor butt became so red… waiting for her to poop could be a day or longer, you never know… is there another way other parents have done?
I’m thinking of letting her lay diaper-free on the ground on a plastic changing pad that you can wipe off.. but she can’t be naked all day, it is winter after all.. ideas?
My 5.5 month old has had diarrhea for the past 3 days and has become very raw on his bottom from it. I have been putting aveeno diaper rash and a&d with zinc/aloe and cornstarch and nothing is helping, his butt is so sore he screams and stiffens when I change him and it takes his breath away. I took him to the doctor and she gave me yeast meds, but their not helping either. I don’t know what else to do! I’m not using baby wipes just warm water and cloth. I’m giving him plenty of diaper free time and I also change him as soon as it comes out. Please help, if you know anything that will work.
Because babies are sterile in the womb and usually receive breast milk or formula free of E.coli, how do the harmless strains of E.coli enter the body to aid in digestion and vitamin K production?
I already know I have a diaper rash from a cheap. Brand of pad I was using during my cycle, now that its clearing up
Should I keep my area hair-free? I noticed that the hairs were also a cause of irritant.

I bought some things off a woman from Craigs list & she gave me a free case of baby formula but its not in english… Should I trust it?
I gave my son juice without realizing it had banana’s in it, which he is allergic to. Not a severe allergy but he does get diarrhea and diaper rash from it. Anyways, he has VERY bad diaper rash. I have been using baby powder on it but wanted to see if anyone has any other ideas. Its breaking my heart to see him like this.
1. I hate using creams. Every time he wets himself and I change his diaper its really painful for him when I have to wipe off the cream &/or diarrhea.
2. I tried letting him go diaper-free. It lasted about 3 minuets before he peed on the carpet twice.
Why I gotta pay $400 per month. I should be paying like $50. Kids don’t even eat that much. Seems to me the females getting pregnant are getting payed and us guys are paying for them not taking precautions. Maybe females are just playing games to get payed. They don’t pay no rent, get free money, formula, and food stamps. Maybe I should just bounce and stop working. I don’t really feel no connection to the baby any ways
Someone i know knows someone that’s moving away and wants to give away their baby crib and few other items for free or for a small amount of cash and told me i should come pick it up since i’m expecting. I dunno this person at all…a complete stranger but willing to give away their stuff. Should i bring them a gift or something when i go to pick up the things? If so, what should i buy??
My son got into the Desitin…smearing it all over my carpet, then stomping it, and making little footprints all down the stairs. It’s also on my mirrors & windex doesn’t seem to do anything but smear it.
The good news is, his hands and face will be rash free for months! LOL
