Is this a good product? Also, is there any way to get free samples or discounts on this stuff because from what I have seen it is outrageously expensive!!

I am trying to wean my 6 month old to formula because I am going back to work and in 3 months I am going away for 2 weeks on my honeymoon and I dont want to be leaking while im there. I have slowly been trying for 2 months now but he has had a few problems and he is very stubborn. I recently found the formula that works for him. It is a milk free formula. The problem I am having now is getting him to drink it. I have tried mixing it, giving it to him from a cup and different nipples. He cries till I give him the boob and I keep giving in. My mom wants to take him for 1 night and try to do it cause I cant watch him cry. Should I let her? She said it will probably work but he will probably be upset and I shouldnt see him. I think it would be good for both of us. Any other suggestions

My son was breastfed until he was about three months with supplementing formula here and there. He was then put on Lactose free formula and is now 11 months old. Anytime I give him dairy of any kind he ends up with runny poops. Yet there’s always something else going on that could also give him the runny poop- antibiotics, teething, virus.. you name it. So we haven’t been able to narrow it down to if it’s the dairy giving him the diahrea yet or not. Any of you mom’s that had trouble switching from formula to milk how did it affect the baby? How did you finally figure out if it was the lactose intolerance or something else and how long did it take to fully get your baby switched to milk, or were you ever able to?

My dd (14mths) is starting the transition from formula to milk. She was on several formulas as an infant due to spitting up and constipation. She ended up on Alimentum until she was 6 months and then switched to lacto-free formula. It was never determined that she was lactose intolerant he just felt this would be an easier transition from the alimentum. I am now wanting to at least try whole milk with her before going to soy. I tried to find an organic lacto-free whole milk and was unable to so I decided to just try the organic whole milk as I don’t really know if she has a lactose problem anyway. My question is what signs should I be looking for to determine whether she is able to “handle” the whole milk. Will it take a while or will I notice a problem shortly after she drinks it. So far she has had one cup full half formula (2 oz) half whole milk. (2oz) I just would like to know others experience and any tips on making the transition easier on her tummy. Thanks!

My son is 10 months old right now, He has allergies to regular formula but does great on lactose free formula. Me and my hubby have been talking about switching him to regular milk since he eats solids now and doesn’t care for his bottle to much anymore. But since he is on the lactose free formula Im not sure what milk he should be drinking and if regular cows milk or 2 % will bring his allergies back. I also wanna know the best way to switch him off, should I just start the regular milk or should I mix it with formula ???

i signed up online for nestle’s very best baby resource center, and they supposedly send coupons and checks for formula- i know i signed up for enfamil and got tons of free stuff and checks for formula- when you signed up, what EXACTLY did they send you? cheesy 50 cent off coupons or great formula checks? how many and how often do you receive them? anyone know how i can get more checks? I bought a new diaper bag off of Ebay and failed to see that it did not come from a smoke free home and it just reeks!! I’ve let it air outside for days, sprayed febreeze and even put it in the dryer with a dryer sheet for awhile. Not sure what material it is made of, can’t wash it says to wipe clean. Is there any way to rid this of the nasty smell?
