i keep seeing this in different places that the hospital gives you a diaper bag when u have the baby. is this true? sorry if it sounds dumb!

When our son was born 5 months ago at Swedish Hopsital in Seattle. The nurse gave us free samples of infant formula which I remember was Similac Advanced Early Shield. But my wife is saying it wasnt! Can anyone confirm this?

Someone asked a Q about free stuff you get in the hospital after giving birth, and a lot of mums wrote “free formula samples”? Is that just in the US or do other countries do the same?

I have gotten information from Similac, Enfamil, and Good Start about free diaper bags. It appears that they all offer a free diaper bag at the hosptial when you deliver your baby. I am curious what is in each of them, and if you have to choose one of them, or if the hospital will give you all of them. I have no idea what formula to go with and am happy to receive any and all samples, coupons, etc. that I can get my hands on.

They give them out to every mother, nusring or not. They gave me one “just in case” Just in case of what? I knew I wanted to nurse! How could I petition that to make it illegal? Should I go after the state or the country?
