My child spits up a TON…he always has since day one…He is now 8 months old. He has had his upper GI tract looked at and it was all normal. Could he be allergic to iron? The spitting up has gotten worse and worse. He was on similac advance w/ iron and now he is on a dairy free, lactose free, soy free diet formula, w/ iron. (it is not helping at all and he is still spitting up a ton). If any one knows what it is like to be allergic to iron pleas let me know the symptoms. My 8 month old has stopped gaining weight and has even lost some. I desperate to find out what is going on. Thanks

We just moved to AZ because my husband got a great new job! Since I quit my job in CA to move here I applied for state assistance with health insurance while I interviewed and went through the normal probationary period before my insurance kicks in in AZ. Despite the fact that my husbands job is paying ALL of our bills, from house payment to diapers, my husband still makes too much money for our 3 month old to be covered in AZ. (During his probation period he only makes 13.50 an hour!) We are good a budgeting, but are super concerned that our little one has no insurance. We are not going to take him to the county office to see a nurse for free shots. His health and well being are too important to us and we want him to see a real doctor. Therefore, I am looking for suggestions on a really good insurance plan here in Arizona. sorry for being so long winded, but do you have any?

My 11 week old son is going to daycare soon. His daycare provides Enfamil Lipil with Iron for free. We feed him the generic Target brand at home. The nutritional value of Enfamil and the Target brand are exactly the same. Is it ok for him to drink Enfamil at daycare and the generic at home?

Wic doesn’t allow for us to purchase Enfamil in the sate we live in. My baby does best of it, so I don’t want to switch her again! Does anyone know any sites or programs or something where I can get free formula, samples and coupons?

Im wondering whats best to use. They say to use water with low flouride content. I live in windsor, ontario and the water here is polluted. I dont trust the tap water. I buy distilled bottle water from Culligans. But they also sell ionized water. Which one is best for baby? Also, these bottled waters come in plastic which contain that BPA so now im worried about that. I know the water is at room temperature but how do i know that when these bottles are shipped they are sitting in the hot sun or previous people who recycle these jugs leave them sitting out side in the sun? Man talk about being worried. Any suggestions? thanks

I have been using All Free and Clear, but my baby is still breaking out from it. I also read bad things about the All on cloth diaper websites. Has anyone tried the Sun version? I had read that is has less harmful additives and is actually made from plant based products rather than petroleum. Anyone else have any info?
