Free Diapers And Other Baby Items?

I heard a couple people talk about getting free things off of the Internet. Not sure about how true it is, but if anyone has any websites that would be helpful. I’m not trying to mooch, just trying to get a little extra help! Right now I’m 18 weeks and I haven’t gotten anything yet :(
I’m really worried about getting the baby what it needs!

Hello,
When I was pregnant with my twins, I signed up at these websites and every couple of weeks I would get cool stuff in the mail.
Here are the links below:
Hope they help you………………. :-)
P.S. If you have time to sign up for all these, I would. At Nestle, they send you a calendar with stickers for each milestone your baby reaches. I asked for and received two because I have twins. They are all really good companies.

I Found A Great Mom Website-all Items Are Free~?

Anyone ever heard of Kizoodle? This is a site where you can trade items, clothes, baby items, household stuff, toys, everything! I’m hooked! Go to the website and read the front page for more details. Best thing is you never pay for anything!

Hey, we can all use a little extra, right?

Someone i know knows someone that’s moving away and wants to give away their baby crib and few other items for free or for a small amount of cash and told me i should come pick it up since i’m expecting. I dunno this person at all…a complete stranger but willing to give away their stuff. Should i bring them a gift or something when i go to pick up the things? If so, what should i buy??

any websites would be helpful im trying to buy for baby and kids stuff or even where they can give free clothes for kids. thanks
only serious answers please don’t waste your time and mine’s.

DH and I were NOT intending to get pregnant right now, since money is extremely tight, but that’s life, eh? Anyway, I have a lavish (ha!) budget of $400.00 over the next six months to buy baby supplies.
My inlaws offered to buy a new carseat with all the current safety features. I can get a lightly used crib that complies with current safety recommmendations from a friend for free. I can sew well and am more than willing to make sleepers, receiving blankets and the like, if I can’t get hand-me-downs.
Would love to know what other low-budget mothers have done for baby supplies. What are the ABSOLUTE essentials? Is there anything, other than a carseat, that MUST be purchased new?
I have no problems at all with second hand stuff, as long as it’s safe and serviceable, and I don’t care in the least about logos, brand-names, or matchy-matchy baby stuff.

I live in Ventura County and have lots of extra newborn and 0-3 month stuff. I know about the salvation army and thrift shops in the area, but I was hoping to give to a person directly. Or to a charity that will give it to someone in need for free.

I mam buying a sewing machine tomorrow, I would like to be able to make some easy gifts for a mommy to be, and myself. my co worker and i are both pregnant. I would like to be able to make bibs, booties, hats, blankies, even a sleeper or simple clothes set. Where could I find free, easy patterns? Or even cheap ones from a craft store?
