It may look like i changed a lot but actually she was on one from the hospital for a week and a half and the doctor said change to soy. she was on that for 3 weeks and became extremely fussy all day after drinking it.the doctor said try alimentum and because of her reaction the doc said stay on soy. I then switched doctors. The new one said try good start and she would not even take it so technically she never had it. Now we are trying sensitive lactose free.

So, Im thinking of having a baby soon, and I am just wondering how much money you think would be considered financially stable? How much money did you spend before the baby was born on stuff like clothes, diapers, and furniture?
By the way, my husband is in the military…so, we have free medical insurance…..my friends had babies…one left the hospital with a 25 dollar bill, and the other left with 0 dollars!
So, that part of it is covered! lol!

My husband and I desperatly want a baby. We have about 800-900 dollars left over after paying bills..etc. We are just debating if we can afford a baby. We have great insurance because my husband is in the air force. I see all these other couples my age having babies, and they seem to have so much nice stuff for their babies, and I want my baby to have everything they need plus more.
What do you think? I also want to be able to have enough to go out to dinner once in a while. I live an hour from Orlando, so we like going up there and bumming around downtown disney, and hitting up all the cool restaurants, and even going and listening to live free bands. lol.

im traveling outside the country to south america .. i looked in the AAilines website but they dont have anything about strollers ..at least i didnt see it.. im also bringing a laptop and diaper bag all plus the carry on and two checked bags..that are free but i want to know how much for the other stuff.. thanks

I am exclusively breastfeeding my daughter till 1 and this has paid off because since weaning her we have found she has a milk allergy. I have been given a milk and soya free formula in case of emergencies but the information says 8oz five times a day for babies who aren’t weaned at her age ( she is ten months and this milk is for babies that have multiple allergies so may not be on much food).
She has a really good diet and has three meals a day so she doesn’t have huge feeds and tends to have little and often (about 7/8 feeds a day). When she goes to the childminder’s she has 3oz of expressed milk per feed, will this equate to the same in powdered milk?

my two month old daughter poops 8 to 12 times in a 24 hour time period since day one. my first night in the hospital from 3pm to 6am she poops 8 times! well my problem is sometimes she will poop and ill change her then 10-15 mins later she will poop again. friends tell me not to change her diaper right away cause she is not done and that is why she poops 15 mins later. in my opinion 15 mins in a dirty diaper is way to long, but then i spend like 100-120 $$$ a month in diapers and wipes. and i am for sure on a tight budget.
BTW: she is only breastfed with a couple 2-3 ounce bottles a week, we use enfamil nutramigien. i eat a dairy free diet, for we found out she is allergic to dairy(just like her brother he is now 3). the doctor was concerned about her pooping so much cause most of it looks like diarrhea, and took a stool sample but it came out fine. she has been gaining 2 lbs a month so far.
my questions are is it wrong to let them sit in a poopy for 15 mins, and what are other reasons she poops so much????

My husband and I are new parents. We do not know how much to pay our babysitter. Our baby is 2 months old. The sitter is 16. The sitter comes to the house one day for 8 hours, and another for 4 hours (so a total of 12 hours a week). All she has to do is change diapers as needed, and do a couple of feedings. The rest of the time she either just snuggles the baby, or reads to the baby. If the baby is calm or sleeping the sitter is free to watch tv, eat our food, etc. We don’t know how much we should pay her. Help!

My baby is one month and she is eating 3 ouces of similac every 3.5 to 4 hours. Is that enough nutrition for her? If I wake her at 2 hours to eat she will spit most of it up. How much did your babies eat at this age? I know all babies are different…she was waking every 2 hours before the doc switched her to a lactose free formula and now its every 4….thanks for your input!!

I understand that Canada has the free healthcare system which is awesome but i wanted to know if we didnt have this benefit, how much would birthing a baby actually cost? Where would I find out this info?
