I have a nephew who lives with me. My brothers son. He has been doing drugs, stealing things from the house, lying and he won’t lift a finger to get a job or help around the house. I have tried to help him. For the last three years, he has lived here for free. He ate for free too. I can’t trust him. Recently a 350 dollars carpet cleaner diapered and I kn ow he took it. So I gave him three weeks to get out. He has never paid rent but I am worried by law I can’t throw him out. Anyone no anything about renters law? Even though he never paid rent does he have a right under california law to stay here longer than three weeks?

Is there a (preferably free) program that I can use to black out the background of a picture? I’m trying to put together an album of my baby boy and there are many cute pictures of him with stupid stuff in the background, like the tv or someone’s foot. If I could eliminate the background “noise” I’d have fantastic photos! Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thank you for qualifying your question! Your question screams of prejudice, but I am glad that you are….not anti-semitic, nor anti-Israel(!)
For you and other ignorant people, the U.S. gives support to many countries around the world. We don’t give support for nothing. We get a lot back, especially from Israel, which is the only true democracy in the Middle East, and a true ally of the U.S.
For those who address how much money we give Israel, you would show a great deal of fairness, even mindedness, and unbiassness if you were to address the fact that the U.S. gives tens of billions of dollars per year to Egypt, Jordan, and other Arab nations, the vast majority which are dictatorial regimes and have a substantial segment that is brewing Islamofascism and rais their children to hate America, hate Israel, hate the Western world, hate non-Muslims.
For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the “very low” figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?
Israel, a small country made up of 6 million people, is a technology hub that has more patents than China, Japan, and Europe combined! Many of these advances are shared with the U.S. I am willing to bet you that you are using an Israeli invention right now.
Aside from a practical reason to help Israel, there are those who believe in the biblical importance of Israel, and maintaining a Jewish homeland as was available centuries before Muhammed wore his diapers.
There multitude of other reasons why support Israel is important, but to think that the support is given for free is absurd, and shows poor education and thinking skills.
As for your last comment, Israel would exist no matter what, as it did thousands of years ago in the Kingdom of Israel, and Kingdom of Judea, which were countries long before Muhammed rode his tricycle.
Your bias and prejudice is blinding your judgement and reality. But I’ve seen it before. Shameful!

I use All free and clear for all of our laundry because I have sensitive skin. I don’t use special baby detergent, but I do put some oxyclean in all laundry except baby stuff. If I do a double rinse cycle can I start washing her clothes with mine and my husbands?

I was reading the question posted about the free medela pump that ruby’s mom is giving away. I have a similar situation. I have the Medela pump in style as well. It’s only been used for a week. I was having problems with milk production and switched to formula. So…the 1st person to answer me with email info and willing to pay shipping can have mine too

My daughter is now 8 months old, and up until Dec. 27th she was fed Parents Choice Immune Support formula (milk based, prebiotics added) She did great with this until Christmas Eve, when she started getting HORRIBLE diahrreah. We decided to take her off the formula for a day and just give her baby food, oatmeal and pedialyte, which ended the diahrreah. So she was switched to a soy formula which helped but also made her spit up every time she ate. So, we were told to put her on a lactose free milk based formula. She doesnt get diahrreah, but she gets horrible gas pains and severe constipation. I dont think shes allergic to milk protein because she doesnt get rashes or have any trouble breathing or anything, but I really think she cannot digest milk properly. Has anyone elses baby been through this and what did you have to do? Her doctor told us to decide for ourselves which formula is better for her, so im just seeking advice. Thanks!
Also… is it true that soy formula messes up baby’s reproductive system or anything like that?

I was just wonder for those who have done it, how hard or easy is it to sell things on Ebay? (Yes, I am going to read their tutorial!) I’m wanting to sell misc. things on there so I don’t have to settle for selling at the flea market or to a consignment shop. People at the Flea market (i call it the Free Market) want you to practically give your stuff away, and the consignment shop pays so little.
I have baby, children’s, and adult clothes and shoes, toys, stuffed animals, scrubs, purses, books, etc, etc. at my house just sitting there that I would like to get rid of, but would like to sell for a reasonable price. (I can also make fleece blankets?) I have bought plenty of things on Ebay before but I am a bit nervous about selling, I’m not expecting to make tons of money or sell anything on the first couple of tries, but I was just wondering about other peoples experiences with selling. I am a SAHM, so I would like make any amount of money I can from home, so I can help out too.

For the past couple days i have been seeing questions about having more than one baby shower and i have seen a majority of the ppl say its rude to have more than one especially if its the same sex baby. I even saw someone say that she thinks its is inappropiate to get free stuff from ppl for ur baby lol. I just wanted to take a poll and see how many of soon-to-be mommys have babyshowers and did or will have more then one if they plan on having another baby in the future. I personally dont think there is anything wrong with having a baby shower or more then one but thats just my opinion.
Please no rude comments this is just peoples opinions nothing to debate on or be rude about.

Ok this might be a book but your help is appreciated.
My daughter is 9 weeks old. She started off on enfamil regular with lipil(milk based, their closest formula to breast milk). This formula was causing her to projectile vomit. They did an upper gi and ultrasound to make sure everything inside was working well and it is so the vomiting was attributed to the formula possibly because of a milk allergy. The doctor then put her on enfamil prosobee soy based formula which constipated her really bad and made her stool very large and hard. We tried dark karo syrup, prune juice and neither would soften up her stool(a couple times it made her butt bleed). The doctor then put her on enfamil gentlease, a formula that has the milk lactose partially broken down for easier digestion(not fully broken down though so thus not lactose free). This formula proceeded to make her projectile vomit also. I just called the doctor and told her this and she told me to put her back on the prosobee soy based formula that constipates her.
My issue with this is that
A) no matter what we try to do to soften her stool when she is on the soy, it is still hard and I am afraid it will cause more trauma to her rectum.
B) We heard the doctor tell another patient in the next room over that there are an increasing number of babies on soy formula and soy is not good for babies.
C) It seems to me that she has a allergy to lactose and that if we gave her another enfamil product called lactofree which is milk based but lactose free, it would solve our constipation(no soy) and vomiting(no lactose) problems.
What should I do? Put her on the lactofree on my own?
