Okay I am about ot have a nephew and for the baby shower I wanted to make a baby coupon book. And i need some more ideas for sayings like “One night of babysitting”. i also need some creative ideas for different coupons that have to do with babies like “One free dipper change” Stuff like that!

My husband and I are expecting our first boy next month. (He has a daughter & I have 2). He considers my daughters as his too but this will be both of our 1st boy. I have NEVER had a baby shower before and my husband and I were wondering if we could throw our own baby shower. We don’t want to seem selfish but we would just like a baby shower for our son.
I never had one with my 2 kids, because my baby daddy never cared about what i would like or anything. & because he never really allowed me to be with my friends or family. but my husband now is in FULL support.
What do you think? We dont want people thinking we are just throwing a shower to get free stuff out of them, we just want to have an experience. Please give me some advice, Thank You!

My friend is due in September with identical twin boys – she already has a 3 year old son, a 2 year old son, and a year old daughter – and I’m looking for something unique to make each of them. I was considering different colored blankets, but a little punked up with some skulls and the like – but I don’t know what else to put on them!
I’m going to knit a pair of baby Chuck Taylors for each of them – in different colors, naturally – but I’ve got a lot of free time (since I can knit at work) and want to do something really spectacular. What are some good ideas, either of different projects or of what else to put on the squares for the blankets?
