Ok i have a sister who is on like full blown welfare she gets foodstamps, healthcare, She got a down payment for her house through the state, She got 75 thousand dollars to fix up her house and to make her payments she missed, She gets diapers for free, She totally lives off the state. Her and her husband dont work and She gets 1500 dollars a week for extra expenses from the state just to go buy all the things she wants, She has 4 kids and i feel so bad for them my sister and her husband walk around in name brand clothes and their kids have all ripped up stained crap. They are pot heads and dont care about anything but weed. And here me and my husband sit on just enough money to survive working our as*s’s off just to survive. And we have 3 kids and cant even get healthcare for our kids. I think its totally Bullshi* the state will help her when they dont even work and they wont even help us when we are atleast trying.Is it wrong to feel like i hate her for this? Im not jelouse?im pis*ed

i just don’t understand my sister needed to get welfare while off work and they gave her the third degree but a mexican can walk in pretend to not understand a thing the npeople from the welfare office says and are just handed a med card and a food stamp card without question but my sister had to fight for hers that kind of stuff just really gets under my skin ..she even went to get free diapers for her baby and had to show all kinds of proof of income and they gave her a bunch of crap but the mexicans behind her came in and were allowed to just go get what they wanted …it makes me sick knowing so many working americas cant feed or diaper there kids and these mexicans walk in get everything free without question dont have to answer anything.. dont have to speek english ..but you know every time they walk out of the welfare offfice or the shealter thats giving free stuff away they get in big nice new suv’s and they always have a pocket full of money …it just makes me sick

I am just wondering why there isnt a system in place that would force people who are on Welfare to give back to the community that is feeding them by doing community service. It would be very simple:
1. The person and all their children must report to Social Services once a week, and prove that they are using the welfare check on bottles and diapers by bringing in store receipts. If they dont do this, then they would not get another check and their children would be taken in by social services until the person has purchased a weeks worth of bottles and diapers.
2. Once they prove they are taking care of their children’s needs, the welfare recipient would then have to do some sort of community service (Mow lawns for public parks, pick up trash off the highway, etc.) for 8 hours a week. During this time, their children would be put in a daycare set up and run by social services.The children would receive one free meal while at this daycare.

I am already on on WIC but today when I was signing my baby up for medical insurance I overheard someone say you can get free diapers if you apply for welfare and such… I was just wondering how you get them because I’m low on diapers and money!
