You could always take the baby clothes that don’t fit anymore or that you don’t care for, to a consignment shop and exchange for credit to buy new ones. I always double check for stains and loose buttons or strings, even though the places I go to are pretty good about making sure they are in good shape.
I don’t believe in investing money into the basic everyday clothing for my girl…unless it’s something I really want.
Hope this helps.

I live in a little town that is expanding too fast to keep up with itself (thanks to oil) and while most things can be found after about an hours drive, there are several things we still lack. One of those is a place for children’s activities. I would like to open a place that has a variety of parent-child and child only activites, one that will also serve as a meeting place for parent meets (such as la leche, diaper free baby, attachment parenting groups, whatever we have a need for) and demonstrations (learn to use a baby sling etc) I already have everything planned out in my head, except for how to get the money to get started. Personal life, I don’t exactly have money to put down, and i’m young so I don’t know how to get the bank to even give me a second look. What can I do to make this happen? One thing I have considered is starting with offering the classes to groups who hire me (church, daycares etc.) but I’m not sure how to go about that, either.

If you sign up for their newsletters they will send you all sorts of stuff. Enfamil sent a box of formula, Nestle sent coupons and huggies sent a few diapers.

My fiance and I are having a slide show for our wedding and the song that I chose for my baby stage,(after debating and searching far and wide) “Always be my baby” as sung by David Cook. The problem is that the lady who is doing our slide show can’t find the song anywhere and refuses to download it free because of copyright infringement, illegal stuff, yada yada yada.
It is NOT on iTunes anymore, so DO NOT tell me to check iTunes or Limewire or Amazon or anything like that.
I was perhaps wondering if there was someone who had bought the song on iTunes when it was able to be downloaded there… Would you be able to send it to me or suggest a site where it can be bought legally?

Babies look adorable in what many in the sewing circles refer to as the “pillowcase” dress. http://www.andersonsplace.net/sewing/pil…http://www.sewbeautifulmag.com/correctio…
You can take an infant’s t-shirt and make a tiered skirt and attach it to the bottom of the shirt – tada! instant dress!
If you join sewingmamas.com, they have a few downloads for things like this, plus many tips on how to make stuff.
You could look at craftster.com in their forums and search on baby dress.
There is also one on Page 3 here:http://www.nandu.hu/English/Practical/Pa…
You will have to draft it out to get the pattern.
Good luck…
