I think for one whole outfit we spend no more than $10, otherwise we get really cheap stuff or free clothes. I went in a baby store and there were onsies that were like $50 EACH!! I was like holy moly, why would you spend so much on one freaking onsie that they will grow out of in a week LOL (I’m exaggerating)

I do purse parties (not knock-offs, but designer isnpired bags). Anyways right now our special is if you book a party you get to pick a free item- the items to pick from are
1. Anklet
2. A pair of sunglasses
3. A Finders Key Purse
at my shows I sell those items plus obviously purses (I bring over 150 with me), Diaper bags, wallters, and purse hangers.
I recently went to a local fair and had a vendor booth and got a bunch of leads. I want to offer something to get some of the girls to book a party… I’m having trouble deciding what else to offer them? (something that doesn’t cut into my profits a huge amount).. Cell phone charms? Cell phone ‘purses’???? I just need some ideas of some other “accessories” I could give away that arent expensive for me to get wholesale. ($4 or less per piece). Mirror compacts? What would entice you to book a party????? (besides the normal hostess benefits?)

Brayden was on WIC and has extra can of formula left after his 1st bday. We are going to keep with the formula bottle and night for a while but even so I will probably have almost 10 cans left.
We got the for free due to WIC so I refuse to sell them. Should I give them back to WIC or find a shelter to donate to.
What would you do with them?

I belong to freecycle in my town. If you don;t know what that is its a place that you can give your unwanted stuff away for free. Anyways someone is offering bottles and nipples on freecycle, I personally think that is gross, that you should buy ones that ONLY your baby will use, am I being nit picky or do you guys agree?

Ok so our wee girl has been having excessive bowel movements the past 2 months any where from 8-10 times perday. Before that she went anywhere from 4-6 times per day ever since she started solids before solids it was 3 times a day. Well the doctor has reccomended that we put her BACK on her formula due to the excessive increase in bowel movements she thinks it may be the milk….But how in the world is a milk based formula going to be any different? She used to be on a lactose free formula but outgrew the intolerance at around 6 months of age and hasnt had any issues with a milk based formula so im confused……………..
How is whole milk any different than a milk based formula? It isnt is it?

So here is how the last year of my life has played out. Due to me being kicked out in Nov of 08 I could not attened college in 09. I had to pay for my apartment and couldnt afford to pay for school. I tried to get financial aid but without my parents info it could not be completed. They refused to give me the information so I was unable to continue to attend college. Well back in December of last year I meet “Stacy” and at first things were ok as they often are at the start of a relationship. However about a month into the realationship I found out she had been flirting with a guy via txt messaging and had saved his name as a females name (Katie) so that if I came across it I wouldnt be able to figure out what she was doing. Well I came into her dads house one day and went to see her in her room. I went in and she turned her phone off and said she just wanted to spend time with me. Ok I thought that was sweet and didnt think that much about it. Well one of her dads finaces cats died so I went outside and helped bury the cat. When I came back in she was in her room with the door closed and txting. I came in and asked her why she was on her phone and she made up something and quickly left the room. Well her phone went off several times so I said you have a txt. I opened it up and read the txt so I could respond since she had told me to do that. What she didnt realize was they guy she had been talking to didnt get her message about not to txt till later. Well we had a huge fight over it and the txts that I had read that they had been sending each other. But like the sucker I am I forgave her and we continued to go out. Well about 5 months into the relationship things were not good. She was lying to me all the time and twisting things around so that I was the one at fault. And the sad part is I believed it and I felt that I was the problem and that I was doing something wrong. Well we found out in May that she was pregnant (another lie that she told me was that she was on the pill) and come to find out she had not been on the pill for almost 3 months. I was so pissed that she had used me just so she could have a child. Which is all she could talk about when we first meet. Well I had decided that I was going to end the relationship after our 6 month mark yet she sprung this on me about a week before that. I thought long and hard about it and decided that I was going to stick it out and try to make sure that my son was able to grow up in a home with a mom and a dad. Well that was a bad mistake. When I was at work once again she was flirting with guys online and on her Im while I was at work. This started another huge fight and all she could say was how dare me stress her out and the baby out by talking about it and that she was not going to talk about it. Well at that point I didnt know what to do. I couldnt kick her out (her dad had kicked her out about a month before that because she refused to do something he had asked and she had lied to him). So I couldnt kick her out and so I let it go. I continued to get the bashing from her about how I wasnt trusting and that I should just dump her. I had decided to stick it out and try to make it work for the baby. Well I wound up getting laid off and so she went to live at my parents house and I have been crashing on my friends couch every night. Every last dollar I have gotten has gone to her. I have a riped jack, shoes that are so torn that they are actually hurting my feet…. ect…. Well this last saturday she sent me an email saying that she was done and felt that she deserved better and that she would be expecting child support from me and that she didnt know how visitations would go. So right now I am one big mess. I love this kid so much but now I cant be an everyday part of his life. I am suffering with nothing to my name while she lives at my parents… gets free baby stuff and eats whatever she wants all so that I can give everything I have to her. So thats my story in a nut shell.

I love my MIL, but every time she watches my son (15 mos.), w/in 24 hrs, he has blisters and horrible diaper rash! She’s diabetic & eats sugar-free foods. She mentions giving my kids ‘snacks’ (which are ok by me, but I’ve noticed all are sugar-free), but when I pick them up, my daughter (7) complains about her stomach hurting & my son’s butt looks horrible! I can usually clear it up w/baking soda and Lanolin overnight, but would the sugar-substitues be causing this issue? I’ve researched it online & see it does cause GI problems – but someone else? I believe in my kids eating healthy, but enjoying too – so I don’t feed them fat-free, low cal, sugar free stuff – heck, they’re kids! And, I do a lot of cooking so they don’t eat a lot of chemically altered/processed food. Maybe their systems aren’t used to it? Just some insight b/c my poor son’s butt can’t handle this anymore!

I hav ethem posted on craigs list but im not getting as many as i thought i would. would you be more willing ot buy a diaper cake for someones shower if they are offering a drawing for a free custom made diaper cake. I have posted a ad for a contest for a free diaper cake that i will make custom made for a mom in need. do you think that will help attract business?
I really want to see if i can get this kicked off so i can only go back to work part time or not have to go back at all. my baby is 4 weeks nad my husband feels so bad that his income is just a little under what we would need ot let me stay home . I love making these.
do you have any other ideas of things that i could make that are related to baby gifts.
