What To Do With Guinea Pig?
I have a guinea pig that I got from PetCo as a baby about 4 months ago. I am moving and due to a new job and a new home, I can no longer care for her like I expected to be able to. She has a very nice cage, a carrying cage, toys, nice food dishes, etc. and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to find her another home. Also, I live in Seattle so if anyone wants a guinea pig, you can have her and all her stuff for free.

You should really try to re-home your piggie yourself to make sure she goes to an owner that will care for her properly. You shouldn’t advertise your piggie for “free”. People that own snakes often patrol the classifieds looking for “free” piggies, hamsters, baby rats, etc. to use for feeding their snakes, to save the cost of purchasing them.
Its too bad you can’t figure out a way to keep her.
Do not offer her for free. A small nominal fee is needed to weed out potential snake food seekers.
Put her on petfinder.com and all the other pet search engines you can find on the internet.
Call rescues in your area to work with. Petfinder can help find local rescues.
I also suggest for you to not get another pet. You went and got a piggy 4 months ago. That is a very short time for anything, except a goldfish. This is something that happens all too often and it iritates me you can walk into another store/ shelter and get another one if 6 months down the road you decide you can handle it again. Guinea pigs are for life because they are a life and, only if you decide to keep her and struggle through, do you deserve her.
Please look into these sites, http://www.guinealynx.com and http://www.guineapigcages.com, to learn more about guinea pigs and if you want to adopt out, they can help as well, but I recommend not telling them you got her FOUR months ago.
ask neighbors or people you know like friends or if you want family members so you can see her once a while, but if their arent family members that want her then ask friends put posters on the street, wish you luck
put up a notice in the grocery store or shop window. pity i didnt stay there i woulda taken her in a minute.
They eat guinea pigs in Argentina. They say that they taste just like chicken!
if noone takes her in take her to an animal shelter
