Melaleuca makes a great unscented laundry detergent called MelaPower. It's 6x Concentrated and only $5.79.
My husband retired from the Air Force, I was in the Coast Guard and my Son is a Marine. We've never heard of any branch of service specifying what detergent to use, but when it comes to combat cammies, etc, unscented is always preferred and NO FABRIC SOFTENER IS TO BE USED.
NEVER use fabric softeners (Liquid or sheets) on infant and children's clothing. It ruins the fire retardants in the fabric that is supposed to help protect them.
With children in the house, it is critical to use non caustic cleaners. See http://mysite.verizon.net/res8ksuo/envir… for more information on that.
I am a customer of Melaleuca. http://meleleuca.com I have detoxed my house and of late, with the Travolta tragedy, we have learned just how important that can be. When Kelli Preston talked about how she detoxed her house, she was referring to them switching to all Melaleuca products.
At the top of the hour, go to http://awuwebcast.com and log in using G-yourname-yourstate (ex. G-Cathy-IN) and see how the membership works, then get to know more about Melaleuca at http://melaleuca.com
It's life changing!
All of their EcoSense line is safe around children and pets. http://saferforyourhome.com

I've seen both Tide and Cheer Free in Kroger and Safeway stores. If you have trouble finding what you want you can call Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, OH. I'm sure they have an 800 number. You can find them easy enough on the Internet. I suspect both Tide and Cheer have their own websites so look there first. The Tide website is www.tide.com. Their telephone number is (800) 879-8433. (what do you want to bet the Cheer address is www.cheer.com? But you can probably link to the Cheer site from the Tide site and from there you can get the Cheer telephone number. On the other hand if you call Tide first and ask about Cheer products they will probably just transfer you call. Believe me when I say those folks love to talk to customers. They will bend over backward to point you to a store close to you that handles the product you want. They might even send you a freebie or two. Good luck.
