It seems similac advanced is the best, but its pricey..I was able to get a free sample from the docs office before giving birth. It lasted me a month. I tried Parents choice and it gave my baby gas… (horrible gas)… I haven’t tried anything else.

My son does well on Parents Choice so that is what he is on. It is 1/2 the price of the other formula. The hospital gave me a sample of Enfamil Lipil and it made my son sooo constipated. I threw the rest of the can out. Then, Similac sent me 2 cans- one of Advanced and one of soy. I threw the soy out because I heard it was bad for boys. I used the Advanced and my son seemed to do good on it but I choose to use Parents Choice because of the price difference.
If Parent’s Choice did not work with your baby, then the Target Brand or any other store brand will most likely not. All the store brands are basically the same and mimic Enfamil. Since they all mimic Enfamil, there is a chance that Enfamil might not work with your baby either. If the similac advanced worked well, I would stick with that because changing tons of times is not good for your little ones belly, trust me ive done it before we found a hypoallergenic formula that worked we went through 6 different formulas
I’ve tried Similac and other formulas with my baby. At one point my baby would not breast feed and we had to try different formulas because anything we gave him made him colicky, but at last, we found one that really worked for his system it was the Enfamil Low in Iron, the one with Iron was making him constipated.
By the way he was breastfed until he was 9 months old.
Oh now, they have them in Soy form too!https://www.meadjohnson.com/app/iwp/enfa…
Hey! Well I breast fed til 6 months. I used Enfamil Lipil but that started to get my son constipated. I was then told to switch over to Nestle Good Start. They are great but are expensive. They have soy, ones to keep baby’s immune system up, and etc. If you are on WIC they will give you Enfamil which has the same ingredients. I heard a new brand Neocate is good as well. I don’t know I use Enfamil Lipil or Good Start. Even when you switch between them there are no side effects. Hope this helps.
similac advanced is what i used for my daughter and it worked well but when i had my son i had to use enfamil cuz thats what wic gives and he ended up having to use the soy because the regular made him constipated and fussy.
if your baby is doing well on the similac advanced then stay with it, or you can try the walmart version that is the same stuff for half the price. you can sign up with similac online and get coupons also..
We have used Enfamil Lipil since day 1. But that is pricey too. I heard the Target brand is really good and cheap. Try that.
All I can tell you is just don’t use the pre mixed formulas. They contain dangerous chemicals usually. just powders.
My daughter did really well on Enfamil
